Activate Your Community Account
In order to fully activate your community account you must:
a: Verify your profiles4singles.com account with us.
Please go to to your personal e-mail you used when signing up.
Please remember to check your Spam or Junk folders.
b: Fully complete your Territory/Location pages or your Community Account will not be live/active.
Free Options
Profile Information:
To make you most interesting we have created many different info fields that you can fill in to attract other singles to
communicate with you. You are not required to fill in all personal related fields but more you tell the more interesting you will become.
*Note* All Territory pages must be filled in or your Community Account will not be live/active.
Video Profiles:
Not only can you upload your personal Video Profiles of yourself, we encourage you to show
a bit more about yourself in a more fun and exciting way.
There are 9 video profile categories to select from.
A few of these categories will allow you to make your video profiles more interesting and show more character in you.
Sporty - Sports clips anyone? How about your sports action features. Lets get ready to play.
Funny - Tell a joke so we can all have a good laugh together. Laughing keeps us all young.
Adventure - Upload a clip from your last vacation or something exciting or wild. Extreme rocks!.
Musical - Show off your musical videos. Sing a song or play a musical instrument....heck do them both, group karaoke's are always fun. Music is for everyone.
We offer other great categories to bring out the the most interesting qualities in you.
Lets all have a little more fun with video profiles. Posting comments is a great way to break the ice with some one.

Promote Your Video Profiles:
Video links - Cut and past your Video URL that we provide you with inside your Play Video pages. Then place your video links inside your e-mail messages, dating blogs, dating forums, personal ads and webpersonals.
Video Embed - We provide you with a Video Embed program that you can cut and past into your web site or web pages. This allows you to show off your video clips just like youtube.
Your Video Embed is pre set to "Enabled", if you do not wish to have your Video Embed active/live than you must log into your community account and click on "My Videos", then click on "Edit Video" and set it to "Disabled".
Video Charm Ratings - Charm any video that allows it. Your Video Charm Ratings are preset to "Enabled". If you do not wish to have your Video Charm active/live than you must log into your community account and click on "My Videos", then click on "Edit Video" and set it to "Disabled".
Video Comments - Post Comments on any video that allows it. Your Comments are preset to "Enabled". If you do not wish to have your Video Comments active/live than you must log into your account and click on "My Videos", then click on "Edit Video" and set it to "Disabled".
You will have the abilty to remove Video Comments.
Video Upload. You will have the ability to upload 4 Public Video Profiles and 4 Private Video Profiles.
Picture Profiles:
Take more advantage of Picture Profiles. We allow multy Picture Profiles in order to show more qualities in you.
Its very important to show a picture of yourself but why not show a pic of your favorite pet, car, vacation spot,
art, favorite food dish or other intersting things that make you happy.
Photo Upload. You will have the ability to upload 4 Public Picture Profiles and 4 Private Picture Profiles.
Favorite Videos:
Select Favorite Community Video Profiles, this will play a good roll in who and what type of people interest you.
Instant Messaging:
IM is the ultimate way to communicate with anybody at anytime or any place. IM is also the most comfortable and most reliable forms of communication.
Send messages to any community member or anybody out side the community.
IM is a great tool if your a bit on the shy side or more private.
Friendship Invites:
All great things starts off with good friendships. The old phrase "The Best Ships Are Friendships" are here at Profiles 4 Singles.
Being "Friends" with the community allows you to view his/her Private Videos and Private Photo's.
Groups:
Join or create a Group account. Group accounts come with Forum Topics. Comment on topics and attach a photo or video.
Along with Topic Comments you can attach a video or photo.
If your are the Group Owner/Founder you will have custom options to allow your group to be public or private.
Group Owner/Founder will have the ability to review topics, photos and videos before its live/active.
Group Owners/Founders will have the abilty to terminate anything at any time.
Being involved with groups is a good way to socialize with anybody and talk about anything.
With groups you can meet someone new without even trying. Why not join or create a group and be more active.
Text Chat & Webcam Chat:
Text Chat and Webcam Chat option will be free for a limmited time only.
Text Chat and Webcam Chat option is open live to any community member that is
Login/Online.
Text Chat is preset to ON. Chat rooms come with many fun and exciting Face Emotions and Sound/Audio Emotions.
Webcam Chat is open live to any community member that is
Logged In/Online.
Webcam comes with Sound/Audio. Webcam is preset to OFF. You must turn video cam ON manually
for live use. You will not need to download video chat programs.
Webcam comes with many chat rooms. Custom name your own chat room or go to our Chill Out room,
Lobby room or Lounge room. Chat room are preset to add you inside "Lobby Room".
If you see a "green arrow" to the left of the User Name this means that thay have their web cam turned on/active. If you do not
see the "green arrow" this means the Users webcam is turned off/inactive.
When you see a "red arrow" to the left of a User Name this means the User is viewing your webcam image. No "red arrow" means that they have not clicked on your "View Webcam".
A "red star" to the right of a User Name means you have "Blocked" the User. You will have the ability to "Unblock" Users by clicking on that User Name and clicking on "Unblock User".
Activating Webcam Chat
Adobe Flash Player Settings:
a: Click on the "Chat Now" button inside any user profile page.
b: Click on "CLICK TO SHOW WEBCAM" box in upper right.
c: You will now see 5 small images at bottom of video screen. Click the far left image first. This is the "Display" settings.
Make sure the Display settings has a check mark in the "Enable Hardware Acceleration".
d: Click on the second image from the left. This is the "Privacy" settings. Click on "Allow".
e: Click on the third image from the left. This is the "Local Storage" settings. 100 KB is avg. setting.
f: Click on the fourth amgae from the left. This is the "Microphone" setting. Mid range is avg. setting.
g: Click on the fifth image from the left, this is the "Camera" setting. Now click on the "larger camera image". You should now see a live image in that spot, now click on "Close".
h: You will now see a live image of yourself in the upper right hand corner.
i: Select a room to visit or create your own room. To view other members click on "User Name" then click on "View Webcam". Remember that some or most Users will be text chat only and their Webcam will be off or they do not have a Webcam.
Private Chat Invite From Community Profile Pages:
a: Make sure the community member is Online.
b: Click on community member "Private Chat" button.
This will send the User a pop up window containing your User Name and private chat invite. The User can Accept, Ignore or Block your invite.
c. You must set your computer (pc) to allow www.profiles4singles.com Users to receive private chat invites.
Go to your "Tools" settings and ckick on "Pop-up Blocker", then click on "Pop-up Blocker Settings". Inside the "address of website to allow" box, type in www.profiles4singles.com
, now click on "Add".
d: If your invited User clicks on "Accept", it will then take the User to your private chat room.
Private Chat Invite From Inside Chat Rooms:
a: At this point its always important to be polite and ask the User if its a good idea to go to 1 on 1 private chat.
b: Click on "User Name" to send out private chat request, again this request will be in a pop up window format.
c: Please use the same procedure as stated above to allow the pop up window program to be active.
d: If your guest clicks on "Accept" to the private chat request, it will then take your guest to your private chat room.
Inactive Inside Chat Rooms & Community Pages:
If you are inactive for more than 5 minutes you will be set at "Idle" inside Chat Rooms and Community Pages. On your Community page you will be set at "Offline".
If you remain inactive for for than 10 minutes inside a chat room you will be placed outside the chat room.
You must re-enter the chat room to be live/active again. Your community page will be reset back to "Online" once you make this move.
Password Protect Chat Rooms:
Community Users will soon have the ability to Password Protect chat rooms.
*** Webcam Error Note ***
When you exit chat rooms make sure your Webcam turns OFF before you re-enter.
If your Webcam does not auto turn off when you exit the chat room you will be in ERROR when re-entering on same visit session.
Your Webcam will not be active/live for other Users to view your Webcam image.
You will have the abiltiy to view your own Webcam image but other Users will not.
If you have not manually configured your Webcam to turn off when leaving the chat room than you must 100% leave
profiles4singles.com web site and re-enter
profiles4singles.com chat room to be a new active/live Webcam User.
Webcam Disconnect:
When exiting the chat rooms always click on the "Disconnect" button at middle screen. This will delete your User Name from the chat room immediatly.
If you do not and click on the red "X" cancel button your User Name will stay visable to other Users for up to 90 seconds.
Security
Profiles 4 Singles has great security options such as "Blocking" feature with messaging.
When you have "Blocked" a community member the "Send Message " and "Add to Friends" buttons will not be visable on your profile page.
Users will have the ability to "Unblock" members.
Block and Unblock feature is also incorporated into Chat Rooms.

Rules
You must be 18 and over to become a Profiles 4 Singles community member.
Only 1 community account allowed per person.
Profiles must be you.
1st 444 New Community Members Free For Life, must be e-mail verified accounts.
If a community member is inactive for 90 days an auto inactive notice will be applyed to your profile page.
If a community member is inactive for 120 days your account will be auto terminated.
